A collage of three images: the first shows a man with glasses and a cap working on a knife, the second shows a blacksmith hammering a hot piece of metal on an anvil, and the third displays various finished knives with different handles and blades.

I’m a former professionally trained chef, who spent more than 14 years cooking in various kitchens. My passion for knives, creativity, and hands on learning led to the craft of bladesmithing and knife making. In 2020, I started to watch videos on knife making and quickly realized that bladesmithing was, in a way, similar to cooking. Both crafts take raw ingredients and by applying heat, transform them into something to be enjoyed by the customers.
